Challenger 604 Continuation Training Course
The Challenger 604 Continuation Training course meets ATA 104 Specification Level I, providing a concise overview of the airframe, systems, and powerplant as outlined in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) Systems Description section. This self-paced, online course is designed to take approximately 40 hours, and students must pass a quiz at the end of each ATA chapter before proceeding. A certificate is awarded upon successful course completion.
This course complies with EASA’s knowledge Level 1 requirements as defined in Regulation EU No. 1321/2014, Part 66, Appendix III:
- Familiarization with the subject’s principal elements.
- Ability to provide simple descriptions using common terms and examples.
- Use of standard aviation terms.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Understand safety precautions related to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
- Identify maintenance practices essential for the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
- Define the general layout of the aircraft’s major systems.
- Describe the layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
- Recognize special tools and test equipment used with the aircraft.

Study time
The estimated course completion time is approximately 40 hours. Students have 6 months to complete the course, with the option to pause and resume their progress. After completion, participants will have an additional 90 days to review the materials.
