Our ATR42/72-500/600 Continuation Training course with PW120 Series Powerplants offers a comprehensive overview of the airframe, systems, and powerplant, meeting ATA 104 Specification Level I: General Familiarisation. This self-study online course provides essential knowledge about aircraft systems as outlined in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. Compliant with EASA’s knowledge LEVEL 1 (Regulation EU No. 1321/2014, Part 66, Appendix III), it equips participants to describe key technical systems using common words and examples.
The course requires approximately 40 hours of study. Students must pass a multiple-choice assessment at the end of each ATA chapter before accessing the next module. Upon successful completion, a certificate is issued.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify safety precautions related to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
- Define the general layout and operation of the aircraft’s major systems.
- Understand the general layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
- Identify maintenance practices important to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
- Recognize special tooling and test equipment used with the aircraft.
