Our ATR42-200/300 Series General Familiarisation Course with PW120 Series Powerplants meets ATA 104 Specification Level I: General Familiarisation, providing a detailed overview of the aircraft’s airframe, systems, and powerplant as outlined in the Systems Description Section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. It complies with EASA’s Part 66 Level 1 knowledge standards, as outlined in EU Regulation No. 1321/2014, Part 66, Appendix III.

This self-study, online course requires approximately 40 hours to complete. Students are required to complete multiple-choice assessments at the end of each ATA chapter in order to access the next module. A completion certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.

Course Objectives
Upon completing the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand maintenance practices essential to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
  • Define the general layout and operation of the aircraft’s major systems.
  • Understand the layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
  • Identify special tooling and test equipment required for the aircraft.

STUDY TIME
The estimated course completion time is 40 hours. Students have 6 months to complete the course, with automatic progress saving. Upon completion, students will have 90 additional days to review the material.
