The course complies with EASA’s knowledge Level 1 requirements as outlined in EU Regulation No. 1321/2014, Part 66, Appendix III.
This self-paced, online course takes approximately 40 hours to complete. Students are required to complete multiple-choice assessments at the end of each ATA chapter to unlock the next module. A completion certificate is issued on successful completion of the course.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will:
- Identify safety precautions related to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
- Understand maintenance practices essential to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
- Define the general layout and operation of the aircraft’s major systems.
- Understand the layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
