The Airbus A380 RR Trent and EA GP7200 General Familiarization course provides an overview of the airframe, systems, and powerplant in compliance with EASA’s knowledge Level 1 (EU Regulation No. 1321/2014, Part 66, Appendix III). The course ensures familiarity with the principal elements of the aircraft, enabling participants to describe systems using common terms and understand technical terms effectively.

This self-paced, online training course requires approximately 40 hours to complete. Students must pass a multiple-choice quiz at the end of each ATA chapter before unlocking the next one. A completion certificate is awarded upon successful course completion.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

• Identify safety precautions related to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
• Define the general layout and operation of the aircraft’s major systems.
• Understand the general layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
• Identify maintenance practices critical to the airframe, systems, and powerplant.
• Recognize special tooling and test equipment used with the aircraft.

The course is fully compatible with PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices (Android and iPhone). An internet connection is required to access and complete the course.

STUDY TIME
The course will take approximately 40 hours to complete. You will have 6 months to finish, with progress saved automatically. After completion, you will have an additional 90 days to review the content.
