Iain McDonald

Iain McDonald

Accountable Manager

Iain began his career as an engineer in the Royal Air Force, working on Chinook helicopters and Tornado aircraft. Transitioning to civilian aviation, he became a B1/C EASA licensed engineer and has collaborated with numerous European airlines as both an engineer and a Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) post holder (Chief Engineer).

With over a decade of experience as a B1/B2 Part 147 Type Instructor, Iain continues to serve as a certifying B1/C engineer with European Part 145 companies. His certifications include Airbus A320, ATR 42/72, BAe146/RJ, Fokker F70/100, Boeing 737 series, Boeing 777 series, and Embraer 170/190 on both his EASA and UK licenses.

Peter Crowl

TRAINING Manager

Peter launched his aviation journey in 1979 as a flight systems technician in the Royal Air Force, focusing on aircraft autopilot and navigation equipment. He later retrained as an RAF pilot, flying the F4 Phantom, GR3 Harrier, and Tornado ADV. After his military service, Peter became a Qualified Flight Instructor with British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia, specializing in type training on the Tornado ADV.

Returning to engineering, he served as an engineering technical instructor and aircrew ground school instructor at Brymon Airways. Peter has also held the position of Training Manager (Form 4 holder) for a well-known Part 147 aviation training company in the UK.
